There are many ways to locate one’s personalized “wealth position” within a house.  But most of them involve knowledge of Feng Shui or Bazi.  Here I introduce you a simple method using your Chinese birth animal sign to locate your “wealth position”.

Recent news report that artist Prince’s prolonged hip problem may have contributed to his overdose on painkiller and untimely death.  Besides scientific explanations that human bones supposedly last around 50 years of wear and tear, I wonder if his hip problem has any correlation with the Feng Shui of his Paisley Park.

Although I have never visited Paisley Park, I can still check out its Feng Shui conditions by looking into the shapes of the building using Google Map over the internet.  This is done using Chinese Form Feng Shui.

From the notated diagram, we can see northwest corner of the building has a big “missing corner“.  But it is partially compensated with a fence.

Southeast side is also “missing” though the south and east are also partially missing.

In Chinese Feng Shui, each direction or sector represents certain people, events and objects.  The followings are a summary that is relevant to this article:

  • Northwest:  father, male owner of property, head, large intestine
  • Southwest: mother, abdomen, stomach
  • East: Elder son, feet, liver
  • Southeast:  elder daughter, buttock (hips), gallbladder
  • North:  middle son, ears, kidney
  • South:  middle daughter, eyes, heart
  • Northeast:  younger son, hands, spleen
  • West:  Younger daughter, mouth, lungs

According to Chinese Feng Shui, the missing corner of a house will affect the residents in terms of what the missing corner represents.  For example, Paisley Park has a missing southeast corner.  Southeast represents elder daughter (can also be wife of the house), buttock and gallbladder.  It implies that this house may not have daughter (or wife) or daughter does not like to stay home or she suffers illness or bad luck; resident may have buttock or gallbladder problems.  Prince has hip problem which fits the Feng Shui prediction.

Paisley Park’s northwest side is also missing but with a fence to fill the void. So the Feng Shui symptoms are not as evident.  Northwest also represents helpful people/ mentor, fame and wealth.  My humble opinion thinks Prince should have been more famous, wealthy and influential like Elvis.  Maybe this partially missing northwest corner is the culprit.

Besides the missing corners, the circular-shaped building at the right side of the main building has its share of tragic Feng Shui consequences.

In Form Feng Shui, this circular building is called a “sickle sha“.  It looks like the blade of a sickle (or a circular saw) cutting into the northeast and east side of the building.  Both northeast and east represent “son” in Feng Shui.  Prince had a son named Gregory who died a week after birth due to Pfeiffer syndrome in 1996, “a rare defect of the skull” (Is this due to missing northwest corner which represents head?) .  His wife had a miscarriage not long afterwards.

http://www.etonline.com/news/187302_exclusive_sheila_e_says_prince_was_always_pain/

prince-paisley-park-sickleEast also represents feet which is “cut” by this circular-shaped building– Prince had feet problem due to wearing high heeled shoes during performance and eventually causing hip problems.

There are more advanced Feng Shui and astrological explanations for Prince’s untimely death.  But it is too technical to present the details here.

Feng Shui dislikes missing corners in a property.  Make sure that northwest, southwest and northwest corners are not missing when you purchase a property.

RIP Prince

romanceIn Chinese metaphysics, the term “peach-blossom” is used to describe romance or romantic activities.  “Positive peach-blossom” is the one that both parties are single or unmarried.  “Negative peach-blossom” is the one that involved at least one married party.  It can also be negative if the relationship is asymmetric or one of the parties feels annoyed or not interested in the relationship.

HOW TO NEUTRALIZE OR ENHANCE PEACH-BLOSSOM Today is your lucky day!  I will show you two methods that can either enhance positive peach-blossom or prevent the negative one.  You may use these methods to prevent your own or spousal affairs.  If you are single, you may use it to enhance your chance of getting “hooked” or getting rid of undesirable “admirers”.

affair5Unlike the “rooster” method shown in previous blog, the methods below will also work for people with rabbit animal sign.

Method 1.  Use your personal (or spouse’s)  “peach-blossom location” to control romance

— each individual has a “peach-blossom location” calculated from his/her Chinese zodiac animal sign.  Below is the peach-blossom location formula:

  • Monkey, rat and dragon’s  location:  West
  • Pig, rabbit and ram’s location:  North
  • Snake, rooster and ox’s location:  South
  • Tiger, horse and dog’s location:  East

sagoPalm

Sago Palm

How to do it?

  1. To enhance positive romance (if single):  put fresh flowers with no thorns in the person’s peach- blossom location.  Replace when the flowers withered.
  2. To fix negative romance (if married or single):  put a cactus plant or sago palm or a pair of scissors in the person’s peach-blossom location.

You can check your Chinese zodiac animal sign with the list below.  Please note that if you were born before Feb. 4 of the year, your animal sign would be the one of the previous year.  For example, if one was born in between Jan. 1 and Feb. 3 of 1973, your birth animal sign is rat and not ox.

  • Rat: 2020, 2008, 1996, 1984, 1972, 1960, 1948, 1936
  • Ox: 2021, 2009, 1997, 1985, 1973, 1961, 1949, 1937
  • Tiger: 2022, 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, 1950, 1938
  • Rabbit: 2023, 2011, 1999, 1987, 1975, 1963, 1951, 1939
  • Dragon: 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976, 1964, 1952, 1940
  • Snake: 2025, 2013, 2001, 1989, 1977, 1965, 1953, 1941
  • Horse: 2026, 2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954, 1942
  • Goat: 2015, 2003, 1991, 1979, 1967, 1955, 1943, 1931
  • Monkey: 2016, 2004, 1992, 1980, 1968, 1956, 1944, 1932
  • Rooster: 2017, 2005, 1993, 1981, 1969, 1957, 1945, 1933
  • Dog: 2018, 2006, 1994, 1982, 1970, 1958, 1946, 1934
  • Pig: 2019, 2007, 1995, 1983, 1971, 1959, 1947, 1935

Method 2.   In Flying Star Feng Shui, the 1-white-water star represents peach-blossom or romance.  The annual location of this star will affect the peach-blossom situation of the residents.  If you are single and want more romantic opportunities, you may enhance this location by putting fresh flowers or water-based plants there.  For married people, they may want to make sure no flower, water plants or empty flower vases sitting in this area.

Below is the #1 white-water star annual location:

  • 2016/ 2025   SE
  • 2017/ 2026   center
  • 2018/ 2027   NW
  • 2019/ 2028   W
  • 2020/ 2029   NE
  • 2021/ 2030   S
  • 2022/ 2031  N
  • 2023/ 2032  SW
  • 2024/ 2033  E

May love and unwanted love find its own place.

app1461310010_a5d0It is quite common for astrologers, especially the beginners, to write or blog on celebrities and famous people.

Two days ago (April 21, 2016) was Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday.  UK’s Embassy in Hong Kong had posted the queen’s birth certificate on Facebook showing that she was born in April 21, 1926 at 2:40 am.

Hong Kong was a former British colony and people there are still fond of the royal family.  A Hong Kong newspaper has invited celebrity astrologer Master Mak Ling Ling to read the Bazi chart of the Queen Elizabeth II.  Mak has been in Feng Shui and Bazi business since 1996 and had penned over 20 Feng Shui and Bazi books.  She shows up in TV and radio shows regularly.

app1461310058_b6fb

Queen’s birth Certificate

This is the Queen’s Bazi chart:

  • Year:  Bing-yin
  • Month:  Ren-chen
  • Day:  Geng-chen
  • Hour:  Ding-chou

Here is Master Mak’s reading about the queen:

The Queen has a metal daymaster.  She has very strong wealth luck because the birth season is spring.  She does not need to worry about food and clothing throughout her life.  This is an ultra rich and ultra noble chart.”

麥玲玲….發現事頭婆屬金,春天出生的她財運極旺,一生衣食無憂,是大富大貴之格局。

Mak said the British queen was born in a Kui Gang day(魁罡日) which implies leadership abilities and being respected by the people.  “She has two Kui Gang stars in her chart.  With one Kui Gang star is very noble already.”  But Mak also commented that people with Kui Gang star are dominant and self-centered.  So relationship with her children and daughter-in-laws will be less than satisfactory.

麥說英女皇的出生為魁罡日,有領導才能,受人敬重,「佢有兩個魁罡星,有一個已經好貴氣」,但她說魁罡星很霸氣,個人獨旺,子女及兒媳關係則會較差。

Do you know what’s wrong with this reading even if you know nothing about Bazi astrological reading?

The online readers of this newspaper have a field day poking fun at this reading.  Here are some examples:

What an idiot!  The whole world knows the Queen does not need to worry about food and clothing….”  正一白痴,全世界的人都知女皇衣食無休啦

“Quite accurate reading…. hahaha…” 算得又幾準啵… 哈哈哈…

“My prediction is better (than Mak’s), I know she would be the British Queen a long time ago.”  我仲勁,一早知佢會做英女王。

“My reading also predicts the Queen at least lives till 90!!”  我也算到英女皇最少 90 歲命呢!!

“My own reading predicts that (the queen) at least lives till 90 with many children and grand-children, worry-free living throughout her whole life and enjoys good reputation.  This is a born to be queen chart.”  我算到佢至少90歲命,仲兒孫滿堂,一生衣食無憂,享有名譽,生成一條皇后命

Master Mak must have forgotten that Queen Elizabeth II is already 90 years old.   Mak is in a no-win situation even if she has honestly predicted the Queen’s life.  Most people in the world already know her life history.

There are birth charts of certain people, regardless of methods,  cannot be read accurately by any astrological methods.  According to Chinese belief, these people are believed to be the “maiden boys/ girls”  童子/ 童女  (similar to the child angels concept in the west) who serve the deities in heaven or temples.  The “golden boy and jade girl” standing next to Guan-yin or Avalokiteśvara statue in Chinese temples are two examples.

A maiden chart is hard to read because there is another “being” in the body of the chart owner.  However, this “being” is not malicious like a ghost.

These celestial people come to earth or are banished to earth because:

  • lust  (there are still lust and desire in Samsara level of heaven)
  • due to curiosity and sneak out to earth without authorization
  • rule violations
  • are sent to earth officially for some missions to help humanity

Because of the time differentials between heaven and earth, a lifetime on earth is just a few days in heaven.  Sending some unruly “little angels” in heaven to earth “for a few days” and experience some earthly sufferings is a good learning experience or punishment.

These maiden boys and girls show some of the following characteristics:

  • handsome/ pretty, smart
  • prone to sickness and die young, may not live over 40
  • problems in communication, not sociable
  • spiritual, likely be psychic– interest in metaphysics and religions
  • suffer in relationship/ marital life with many tragic stories

In some aspects, these “maiden boys and girls” are similar to the “indigo children” in the west.

There are a few formulas to figure out if a Bazi chart is a “maiden chart” or not.

I found people interested in metaphysics and religion are likely to have a “maiden chart”.   My own chart is also a “maiden chart”.

There are Daoist rituals to “send away” the maiden “hidden” in the body of a maiden boy/ girl.  So that the person involved can live a normal life.
If you want to find out if you have a “maiden chart“, you can donate US$30 ($15 for unemployed or under-employed, tax deductible) to UNICEF  (United Nation Children’s Fund), forward me (kenlai88@yahoo.com) the receipt or acknowledgement email and send me your birthday and hour with city of birth.  I will check your chart to see if you are a “maiden boy or girl”.  Below is the link to make your donation.

https://www.unicefusa.org/

Please be aware that I will not read your chart other than ascertaining if you have a maiden chart.

wealth_nestWealth affects one’s destiny significantly.  When reading a Bazi or 4P chart, we always check if the person has wealth elements.  If s/he has wealth elements, could s/he keep the wealth or simply “money-comes-and-goes” type?

(NoteIf you know nothing about Bazi or 4-pillars, see the Appendix below for instructions.)

In Bazi, whatever one controls is classified as “wealth” element.  For example, a wood daymaster or person, his/ her wealth element is earth.

DAYMASTER AND WEALTH ELEMENT

DAYMASTER WEALTH ELEMENT
JIA or YI WOOD earth
BING or DING FIRE metal
WU or JI EARTH water
GENG or XIN METAL wood
REN or GUI WATER fire

The storage element for each one of the 5-elements are:

 5-ELEMENTS AND STORAGE

ELEMENT STORAGE
WOOD Wei (ram)
FIRE Xu (dog)
EARTH Chen (dragon)
METAL Chou (ox)
WATER Chen (dragon)

If one’s Bazi chart has none of these storage elements, it is likely that s/he may have problem keeping her wealth or money.

There are also specific “wealth storage” for each of the 5-elements or daymasters. For example, a Jia-wood or Yi-wood daymaster with Chen-earth in his chart is regarded as possessing a “wealth storage”.  He is likely to be able to save money and keep his wealth.

DAYMASTER AND WEALTH STORAGE

DAYMASTER WEALTH STORAGE
JIA or YI WOOD Chen (dragon)
BING or DING FIRE Chou (ox)
WU or JI EARTH Chen (dragon)
GENG or XIN METAL Wei (ram)
REN or GUI WATER Xu (dog)

There is a saying in Bazi,

“Whoever sits on a wealth storage will be rich. 身坐财库,无人不富

Wealth should have storage. 财宜藏

With storage one will have plentiful wealth. 藏则丰厚”

affairIt means your wealth is not really yours if you do not have a wealth storage because you may not be able to hold on to it.

On the other hand, “wealth” also means wife or mistress for a male daymaster in Bazi.  So a wealth storage in a male chart also means he is likely to “hide a mistress“.

APPENDIX

How to figure out your “daymaster” and if you have any “storage” elements:

1.  Click the following link:

http://bazi-calculator.com/

2.  Key in your birthday/ hour and gender info in the left “birth chart” side.

3.  Click the “CALCULATE” button.

4.  Scroll down the screen to see the colorful “birth chart” at the left side.

5.  Check the third column (count from RIGHT side!) of the chart.  It has “day master” label in the bottom of the box.  This is your day master element.  If the color of the box is:

  • red– your daymaster is fire
  • blue– your daymaster is water
  • yellow– your daymaster is earth
  • green– your daymaster is wood
  • grey– your daymaster is metal

6.  Check the second row of the chart if you have any yellow box (chen, xu, chou, wei).  This is your storage element.

Most women do not want their husbands have mistresses or a “third party” (called “Little Third” (小三) in China).

Peach blossom” is the term used in Bazi astrology and Feng Shui to describe both positive and negative romance due to one’s astrological chart or Feng Shui conditions.

People whose birth charts have more than 2 peach-blossom elements or are currently running into peach-blossom luck period are prone to romance (if single) and affairs (if married).  I will address the birth chart part in later blogs.

This article will address Feng Shui factors contributing to mistress “invading” into your territory or you become a mistress yourself.

FACTORS LEADING TO MISTRESS FENG SHUI

House facing a “V-shaped” road

“V” looks like a woman spreading her legs.  Females of this house are prone to negative peach blossom.

House or office with big empty flower vase

This may bring more romance to female residents– especially attracting married men.

Seeing bathroom when opening the main door from outside

This may bring negative peach blossom, especially if the residents work in people-oriented careers.

West side of house seeing water

This includes bathroom or kitchen in west side of house– female residents are prone to attracting married men.  West or “you (rooster) mountain/ direction” is one of the four peach-blossom regions.  If dirty water flowing out from this direction, female resident is prone to become a mistress.

Above factors are mostly basic form Feng Shui materials.  You can check out my “Visual Form Feng Shui” video course for more details.

http://isfengshui.blogspot.com/2015/11/visual-form-feng-shui.html

When I am in a good mood, I will write about “no mistress/ third party” Feng Shui fixes in the future.

When I check my top 10 blog articles, the biggest surprise is the one about the “hardest Chinese character” climbs to my top 10 list.

http://kenlaifengshui.blogspot.com/2007/10/hardest-chinese-charcter-ever.html

Recently I have found that China’s People’s Daily has compiled a list of “most difficult Chinese characters to recognize“.  Have fun with the following!

1.  Yao:  3 “earth” elements or roots; means “high mountain”.

2.  Xian: 3 “fish” elements, means the fishes are very fresh.

3.  Xian: 3 “dog” elements, looks like 3 dogs running.  “Speedy“, “rising quickly” are the extended meanings.

4.  Cu: 3 “deer” elements, looks like 1 adult deer with two small deers packed together with confusion.  It means “blind or rough force“.  Here Cu means non-refined cereals.

5.  Ben: 3 “ox” elements, looks like 3 oxen running forward.  Ben is another way of writing 奔(“ben” running, rushing) with the same rushing and running meaning.

6.  Shan: 3 “goat” elements, Shan is another way of writing (“shan” ) with the same meaning odor of goat/ sheep (cooked or raw).

7.  Mei: 2 “dumb”  (呆 dai) elements together– another way of writing “plum” (梅 mei).  This character is originated from Shantong province and means “inarticulate and dumb“.

8.  Bi: 3 “money” (贝 bei) elements, sign of exerting energy (to make money).  Bi is also the name of one of the 9 legendary sons of the dragon king.

9.  Cui: 3 “hair” elementsmeans hairBut this hair means refined or tiny hair over the skin that is hard to be seen.

10.  Pa: 3 “hand” elements, first two hands stand for normal hands and the third one is for pickpocket. Pa means “pickpocket”.

11.  Suo/ rui: 3 “heart”  elements; when pronouncing as “suo“, it means puzzling or worrying.  When read as “rui“, it refers to an ancient worship ritual in autumn.

12.  Mo: 3 “eye” elements; this word means pretty eyes or long range perspective.

13.  Lei: 3 “field” elements, same as thunder (雷 lei) during ancient times.  This word means the farm land.

14.  Zhuan: 3 “son” elements, original meaning is “alone and pitiful like an orphan”, but Chinese netizens use it to mean being enslaved by “house, car and spouse” (symbolizes 3 “sons” or子).

15.  Hua: 3 “tongue” elements; this is another version of “talk” (话, hua).  Hua here means flaming, instigating conflicts and talking bad about other people.

16.  Jiong: this character looks like a brightly lit window.  The original meanings are “bright” and “righteous”.  However, this character looks like an emoji with eyebrow lowering down like a sad expression.  So it is used to mean depressed, sad, boring, alienated and helpless in Chinese internet.

 17.  Biang: this is probably the most complicated Chinese character with 56 strokes.  This is the name of a regional noodle in Shannxi province– “biang biang noodle“.  “Biang” is the sound when hitting the raw noodle on the chopping board.

Most of these “difficult” characters are formed by tripling the same element or root.  One can easily guess its meaning by interpreting the original meaning of a specific single element.

70% or more are words that are rarely used nowadays or ancient words.  #16 Jiong is the only word gets a new lease in life and becomes very popular in the internet age because it looks like a sad emoji.

One needs to recognize around 2500 Chinese characters to read common Chinese reading materials.  It is no big deal if you cannot recognize these 17 Chinese characters.  Most Chinese cannot recognize 90% of this list anyway.

In Feng Shui, every major direction represents a member of the family.  Please check the following diagram taken from my “Practical Door Feng Shui for Wealth” course manual:

bagua people

Garage can holds wastes and emits negative qi or energy. The location where you put your garbage can will have serious consequence for the family member represented by that location.  For example, if the garbage can is put in NW location, the oldest male (usually the father, the major breadwinner) may suffer bad luck like tarnished reputation, demotion, business or career failure and the like.  Same problems for the mother of the house if the garbage can is put in SW location.trashcanc

In business, if the garbage can is in the NW location, the owner will not be respected by the subordinates and likely to fail.  NW or Qian location represents the head or owner of a business or office.

I know you may have a problem because every direction represents the location for a family member– you may not want to “sacrifice” anyone by putting the garbage can in that location.

Today is your lucky day– below is the top Feng Shui secret of where to put your garbage can without hurting anyone.

In Feng Shui and BaziChen (dragon),  Xu (dog),  Chou (ox) and  Wei (ram) locations or mountains are called “tombs 墓” or “storages 仓库”.  These are the locations to put your garbage can without turning your family member into “garbage“.

WHERE TO PUT GARBAGE CANJ1301_Floor_Plan

How to find the 4-storages sectors?

  1. Draw a proportional floorplan of your house and put a protractor over the center of the plan.
  2. Mark the degrees around the floorplan
  3. Locate the directions below:
  • Chen mountain (SE1): 112.5- 127.5 degree
  • Xu mountain (NW1): 292.5- 307.5 degree
  • Chou mountain (NE1): 22.5- 27.5 degree
  • Wei mountain (SW1): 202.5- 217.5 degree

In Feng Shui, negative energy will have have minimal effect when you cannot see and smell it.  Hence, keeping the small waste baskets inside your house or business clean/ covered (if there is organic waste) and inconspicuous is OK too.

My articles on Bazi penalties are the most read articles.  Here is more info on self-penalties.

Self-penalties are generated from the intersections of san-he (3-unities) and san-hui (3-meetings) combinations.

1.  Hai-hai self-penalty

  • derived from: haimao-wei and hai-zi-chou
  • water is too strong.
  • hurt by water, drowning, suicide by jumping into water

2.  Chen-chen self-penalty

  • derived from: shen-zi-chen and yin-mao-chen
  • earth is too strong.
  • hurt by earth, buried by earth, suicide by jumping from tall building

3.  Wu-wu self-penalty

  • derived from: si-wu-wei and yin-wu-xu
  • fire is too strong.
  • hurt by fire, electrocuted,  suicide by burning coal indoor.

4.  You-you self-penalty

  • derived from: si-you-chou and shen-you-xu
  • metal is too strong.
  • hurt by metal, suicide by self-stabbing, cutting veins.

People with self-penalty are sentimental, prone to depression, and “shoot themselves in the feet” type.

If you want to learn more about penalties and Bazi in general, you may want to check out my “4-Pillars Forecasting Bootcamp” video correspondence course.
