wealth_locationToday is your lucky day again!  After reading this post, you will find a more precise way of locating your personal wealth location (PWL) based on your birth day.  PWL is only effective for you and not other residents of your house.

Firstly, you need to log in bazi-calculator.com to find out the “day stem” or “daymaster” (DM) of your birthday.  DM is your birth element.  Simply key in your birthday and click “calculate”.  Look at the chart in the left side of the screen.  The “day pillar” is the third column (counting from the right!) with your birth day # at the top.  Your day stem or daymaster (DM) should be one of the followings:

  • Jia or Yi— wood element
  • Bing or Ding— fire element
  • Wu or Ji-–  earth element
  • Geng or Xin-– metal element
  • Ren or Gui-–  water element

After finding your DM element, check the following diagram for your personal wealth location:

How to find your personal wealth location (PWL)

  1.  Find your DM element based on your birthday, for example, Ren-water DM.
  2.  In our example, Ren DM PWL will be in S2 or south sector (15 degrees region)
  3.  Jia and Yi-wood DM have more than one PWL.

Important notes on personal wealth location

  1.  PWL should not be in a missing corner — consult your Feng Shui guy for remedies or take my “Advanced Visual Form Feng Shui” w/23 hr. HD video
  2.  PWL should not located in a door or window area.
  3.  PWL should be kept clean and no clutter
  4.  PWL should be bright
  5.  You may put wide leaves plant or wealth symbols in your PWL
  6.  If PWL overlaps with other wealth location, it will double the effect
  7.  If PWL branch element is unfavorable to your Bazi chart, it will have no wealth effect for you.

31354-nw_missingToday is your lucky day.  This is the easiest house-hunting Feng Shui for the laziest person or someone who wants to save a bundle of Feng Shui consultation fees.  It is also called “5-no Feng Shui“.  Below are all you need to know when you buy or rent a house:

  1. No missing northwest corner (also no missing southwest corner if you have a wife or live with your mother)
  2. No toilet/ kitchen in center of house
  3. No toilet/ kitchen in northwest
  4. No T-junction in front of house
  5. No tower (power-tower/ cellular tower/ water tower) within 100 meters diameter of the house

towers3

A house should be all right if it does not violate this “5-no Feng Shui”.  It makes sure the breadwinner of the house is safe and protects family members from serious internal and external negative energies.  Ask your Feng Shui teacher if you want to know the rationale behind these “no-no” or take this course:

missing_SWHouse Feng Shui affects the career and health of the residents, especially for the breadwinner/s of the house.  The Feng Shui conditions below affect the “woman of the house” or the oldest female of the household.

1.  Missing southwest corner — Southwest (SW) represents the oldest female in the house.  If SW sector is missing in a house, it will affect the oldest female’s career and health.  Usually this female has health problems or does not want to stay home because her place (SW) is not there.  This also affects her status and authority within the family.

2.  Missing corner in SW– occupied by elevator— In this scenario, SW is not really missing but is not part of the house or apartment.  SW sector is occupied by an elevator. Elevator moves up and down all day long in SW will affect the female of the house seriously.  This female may have chronic illness. If annual star 5-disaster or 2-sickness lands on SW, elevator movement will activate the negativity affecting this female.

3.  Toilet or bathroom in SW sector— Toilet has dirty water and water-flushing frequently.  It will affect the female of the house in terms of her luck and health, especially reproductive related illness.    If this is a single man house, he will have problem getting a stable girl friend or wife.

Period 8 Chart

4.  Kitchen in SW sector– During Period 8 (2004- 2023), the 5-yellow disaster period star sits in SW for 20 years.  The original star in SW is 2-black sickness.  Therefore the DNA or ingredients for major illness like cancer are there.  SW is earth in nature and kitchen is fire.  Kitchen fire in SW will enhance the ferocity of 5-yellow and 2-black stars.  This may cause cardiac and vascular illness to the woman of the house.  Kitchen location also affect gestation/ pregnancy ability of the woman in some cases (check my 4-Pillars Bootcamp course for details).

5.  Do not use plants to control the negative stars in SW— SW is earth in nature and represents the woman of the house.  According to 5-elements theory, wood or plant controls earth.  Putting plants in SW may affect the wife’s career luck and also cause lawsuit and misfortunes.  Avoid red color and use metal objects as remedies instead of plants here.

 6.  Landscape rocks or pebbles in the right front-side of the house— Right side is “white tiger” in Feng Shui and also represents female of the house.  With rocks or pebbles in this location is called “white tiger exposing bones“– means surgery for the female.  The illness usually is woman sickness such as uterus, ovary and the likes. The likely year of sickness occurrence is predictable using “Advanced Visual Form Feng Shui” course.

7.  Bedroom location and arrangement— Bedroom Feng Shui affects the health of both husband and wife.  But it affects the wife more in terms of reproduction and marital harmony.   Briefly speaking, the arrangement of bed location, bedroom door, bedroom windows, bedroom bathroom and illumination– could influence marital blessing and health of the couple.

31354-nw_missingHouse Feng Shui affects the career and health of the residents, especially for the breadwinner/s of the house.  The Feng Shui conditions below will affect the “man of the house”:

1.  Missing northwest corner  — Northwest (NW) represents the oldest male in the house.  If NW sector is missing in a house, it will affect the oldest male’s career and health.  Usually this male also suffers low self-esteem or does not want to stay home.

2.  Missing corner in NW– occupied by elevator— In this scenario, NW is not really missing but is not part of the house or apartment.  NW sector is occupied by an elevator. Elevator moves up and down all day long in NW will affect the male of the house seriously.  This man may have chronic illness. If annual star 5-disaster and 2-sickness lands on NW, elevator movement will activate the negativity affecting this man of the house.

3.  Toilet or bathroom in NW sector— Toilet has dirty water and water-flushing frequently.  It will affect the man of the house in terms of his career and wealth luck.  He may lose his official position if working for the government and filing bankruptcy if running a business.  If this is a single woman house, she will have problem getting a stable boy friend or husband.

4.  Kitchen in NW sector— NW is metal in nature and kitchen is fire.  Kitchen in NW may cause respiratory and brain illness to the residents, especially the oldest male of the house.  This situation is also called “Fire burning heaven’s gate“.  It stands for rebellious children who bully the father.

hauntedA house is inauspicious or haunted if it has the following characteristics:

  1. There are two or more deaths or severe injuries in the family within 3 years of moving-in.– House like this usually has “sha-qi” (negative energy) like T-junction, sickle-cutting sha, heart-piercing sha or “white-tiger sha”.  These negative energies cause bloody events, backstabbing and disharmony .
  2. After moving in, family members have chronic headache, fevers or diarrhea.
  3. Family members suffer frequent misfortunes and bad lucks after moving in.
  4. Family members suddenly turn against each other after moving in.
  5. After moving in, family members suffer insomnia or dreaming of ghosts.
  6. Pets like cat and dog refuse to enter the new house or certain part of the house.
  7. Baby or toddler cries when entering the new house, especially at the evenings
  8. Barely perceptible smell of rotten material or foul smell (but cannot find the source)
  9. Small animals clashing into the house and died (excluding moths)
  10. Feeling chill inside the house even in summer.
  11. Family altar tablets (of ancestors or deity) fell down or cracked

Move away if this is your house.  The problem is that if you live in a house with these conditions, you are likely in a bad luck period and may end up in a much worse house.  Hence you should hire a Feng Shui practitioner with a proven track record to help you find another house.

If for any reason that you cannot move, as long as your problem is not due to #1 above, find a priest of your preferred religion and do a cleansing and blessing of your house (and hope the problems go away).

The level of Feng Shui auspiciousness and inauspiciousness for the residents of a house is affected by the move-in date.

The table below shows the relationship between move-in date-selection and Feng Shui effect.

Below is a quick and easy way to do a date-selection for your move-in date of your new or rental house.  It is based on the door-facing direction of your new housing.  If you do not understand the terms below, simply read the Appendix below for a link to convert western dates to Chinese dates.

 DATE-SELECTION FOR MOVING

Click table to enlarge

Move-in date/time is the time you start moving into the new house.  You do not need to finish moving within that hour.

You may have problem fulfilling the requirements of the above table.  An acceptable alternative is that your move-in date should at least has an auspicious day and hour.  The day and hour should not clash the animal sign of the owner and Grand Duke (2017 Grand Duke sign is you-rooster).  Please note that a Chinese hour is equivalent to 2 western hours.

To learn more about date-selection, you may want to take:

APPENDIX: how to find Chinese version of your move-in date and time

  1.  Log into http://bazi-calculator.com/
  2. Type in your move-in date and hour in the “Birth Chart” section.  For example:  Feb. 23, 2017; 9:20 am.
  3.  Click “Calculate” button
  4.  Ignore the “Date to Compare” section.  Just look at the “Birth Chart” section.
  5.  Check the second row of the chart from right to left– it shows the year, month, day and hour in Chinese terms listed in above table.  For our example of Feb. 23, 2017; 9:20 am,  year= You (rooster), month= Yin (tiger), day= Si (snake) and hour= Si (snake).

“Bok Choy” (bái-cài 白菜)  or Chinese cabbage is the national vegetable of China.  It is the main ingredient of hundreds of Chinese dishes and soups.

0000_bchoi2r

If you have traveled to China as a foreign tourist and your guide took you to the “Friendship Store” to shop, for sure you will see some jade carvings like the pictures here.

0000_bchoi

In some Chinese cities, the people even put up giant sculpture of Chinese Cabbage.

0000_bokchoi0

0000_bchoi12

Why the Chinese love their cabbage so much?  Do they have a  Chinese cabbage fetish?

Actually, this is beyond fetish.  Chinese cabbage is an auspicious symbol in the Chinese cultural belief system.

The Chinese pronunciation of  Chinese cabbage is “bái-cài 白菜”.  It also sounds like “bǎi-cái 百財”. The literal meaning of “bǎi-cái 百財”is “100 types of wealth”, which implies “all kinds of wealth”.

By putting jade carving of bái-cài in the wealth positions of one’s house or shops, the Chinese believe it will attract multiple kinds of wealth into the house or business.

By the same logic, putting up a giant bái-cài sculpture in a city, the local people hope to attract all kinds of wealth streams into the city.

“Ken, I can’t afford a jade bái-cài.  What can I do?”

Today is the second day of the Chinese New Year and also your lucky day.  Here is my top secret of eating your way to the bank–  eat your bái-cài at the wealth position of your house to attract multiple sources of wealth.  Of course, you may put real bái-cài in your wealth position to attract wealth too.  A cabbage can easily last 10+ days before you put it into your stomach.  Bái-cài is inexpensive even in USA.  It costs only around US$1 per pound here.

Happy Year of Rooster!
