April 2018

Believe it or not, you can find out if your marriage rocks, so-so or sucks from the day-pillar of your Bazi chart.MaritalBliss

The first part or stem of your day-pillar represents you, the “daymaster” or DM.  The second part or branch is the “spouse palace” and represents your spouse.  The “star” sits in your spouse palace will give you a glimpse of your marital bliss.

Don’t worry if you do not know Bazi.  You can read the Appendix below to figure out your day-pillar using your birthday.

MARITAL BLISS IN TERMS OF DAY-BRANCH

1. Male day branch with zheng-cai or pian-cai  (wealth star)

Day Pillars:  Yi-chou, Yi-wei, Bing-shen, Ding-you, Wu-zi, Ji-hai, Geng-yin and Ren-wu.

  • Wealth is the wife star for a male daymaster.  Wealth sits in spouse palace for a man is called “Star and palace in the same place” 宫星同位.  This usually stands for a happy and perfect marriage.  If wealth star is also favorable, it means this man getting rich through wife or enjoying wife’s wealth. (Rating: Best)

2. Female day branch with zheng-guan or qi-sha (power star)

Day Pillars:  Jia-shen, Yi-you, Ding-hai, Ji-mao, Geng-wu, Xin-si, Gui-chou and Gui-wei.

  • Power is the husband star for a female daymaster.  Power star sits in spouse palace for a woman is called “Star and palace in the same place” 宫星同位.  This usually stands for a happy and perfect marriage.  If power star is also favorable, it means this couple love each other deeply and enjoy fame and wealth. (Rating: Best)

3. Both male and female day branch with zheng-yin or pian-yin (resource star)

Day Pillars:  Jia-zi, Yi-hai, Bing-yin, Ding-mao, Wu-wu, Ji-si, Geng-chen, Geng-xu, Xin-chou, Xin-wei, Ren-shen and Gui-you

  • Resource stands for mother or older generation.  Resource star sits in your spouse palace means your spouse is like your mother nurturing and pampering you.  A Chinese saying goes “Marrying a mother-like wife or father-like husband” 娶妻像娘,嫁夫如父 .  This usually stands for a happy marriage.  It would be perfect If resource star is also favorable.  (Rating: Good)

4. Daymaster sitting on Shi-shen or Shang-guan (output star)

Day Pillars:  Jia-wu, Yi-si, Bing-chen, Bing-xu, Ji-you, Geng-zi, Xin-hai, Ren-yin and Gui-mao.

  • For male, output star nurtures wealth or wife star. So even output star is not the right star to sit in spouse palace, it still enhances wife star.  This situation will be good for strong male DM that favors wealth star (means a good marriage), but unfavorable for weak male DM (implying a disharmonious marriage). (Rating: OK)
  • For female, output star controls power or husband star. So not only output star is not the right star to sit in spouse palace, it further hurts husband star.  This usually means a less than satisfactory marriage if not jinxing the husband. (Rating: Bad)

5. Daymaster sitting on  Bi-jian or Jie-cai  (peer star)

Day Pillars:  Jia-yin, Yi-mao, Bing-wu, Ding-si, Wu-xu, Wu-chen, Ji-wei, Ji-chou, Geng-shen, Xin-you, Ren-zi and Gui-hai.

  • Peer star stands for competitions, friends and siblings which will “snatch” wealth away.  When it sits in the spouse palace, it means competition to take your spouse away if not jinxing the wife!
  • For male DM, with peer instead of wealth star inside spouse palace, it is the “sign” for wife being “snatched” away.  This means marital disharmony and affair. (Rating: Bad)
  • For female DM, with peer instead of wealth star inside spouse palace, it is the “sign” for husband being “snatched” away.  Wealth nurtures power (husband) in Bazi.  But peer “snatches” wealth away and weakens the husband.  This means marital disharmony and affair.  This also has a relatively higher divorce rate. (Rating: OK)

This is a quick-and-easy way to check one’s marital bliss.  A more accurate reading would be taking into consideration of other stars and not just the star inside the spouse palace.

Note:  The article below was written for my Bazi groups in last October.

=========

Today is your lucky day.  Here is a so-called “Blindman secret“.

When there are two tigers (yin) in a natal chart and no ram (wei) and pig (hai) to “feed” the tigers, these are “hungry tigers” (rat, rooster, dog and monkey can’t be tiger food).

If there is pig and ram in the chart, these tigers are called “stomach-full tigers“.  “Stomach-full tigers” do not hurt people.

Hungry tigers will hurt people, but is limited to male charts– jinxing wife, most likely to death..  Female chart with hungry tigers won’t hurt people.

For your future mate-selection jobs (or for your own children), make sure the male suitor’s chart has  “stomach-full tigers” if there are 2 tigers in the chart.

Ken’s comment: Female chart with hungry tigers won’t hurt people” because women are smarter– keeping the poor man alive to work his behind off OR divorcing him to collect alimony.  Dead husband does not get her paychecks.

This article still draws discussion this month.  One female member told me that she was lucky to have escaped her ex with hungry tigers chart.

Note:  Below is an article that I wrote for my Feng Shui groups a few days ago.

In Feng Shui, the front yard or ming-tang (a.k.a. “bright-hall”) of a house is its “wealth potential”.  The bigger the ming-tang, the higher is its wealth potential.

But modern apartments have no ming-tang.  Instead, the living room is the “inner ming-tang” and also the wealth potential of its Feng Shui.

Hence, you want your inner ming-tang as big as possible, even for house with a front yard.  You also keep it clean and bright for wealth enhancement.

I have been conducting an experiment on using inner ming-tang to enhance wealth in the last few months.

I am an night owl and work in late nights when there is no interruptions.  In the past, I just turn on the lights in my work area.  The living room lights were off since no one was there.

My experiment is simple– turn on all the living room lights while I work at night even no one is there.  Essentially, living room lights are always ON during the night when someone is awake.

Result:   Money does NOT rushing in, but coming in gradually (if I get-rich-quick using this method, I likely will not bother to write this post!) .  It does not make you rich.  But you can feel overall income increases gradually if you compare it with past statistics.  My course sales usually is low after Christmas and New Year (people have credit card bills to pay after the new year).  But this year it is much better than last year due to an influx of new students.

To save electricity with this wealth enhancement method, I use LED light bulbs which consume 10% of electricity to that of traditional tungsten light bulbs.  9W LED bulb (60W equivalent) costs US$1 each or less in USA now.  The upgrade cost will pay for itself with saving in electricity, not to mention the possible wealth enhancement bonus.

You do not need to turn on your living room light when there is no one in the house.  Feng Shui needs human presence to have effect.

You may send 10% of your increase income to my PayPal account or any charity of your choice.

badLuckFew people enjoy good luck forever.  Sooner or later, bad luck will catch up with you.  This article lists some easy-to-do things to mitigate or steer you away from bad luck as soon as possible.

What you can do to get away from bad luck:

  1. Change your hair style and clothing habit
  2. Sleep in a different room
  3. Modify your bed location or head-facing direction
  4. Do some minor remodeling, like new wallpaper or new paint
  5. Re-arrange the furniture layout of your house
  6. Do a house-cleaning

All the above aim at attracting positive energies and dispelling negative energies away from you.  Thus reducing the intensity of your bad luck.

Avoid doing the following when you are in bad luck:
